چکیده

The phenomenon of nuclear isoscaling is studied under the premise of probability sampling. We show that isoscaling is expected in all cases of disassembly through fair sampling, obtain exact expressions for the yield ratio R21 and further show that the previously power law observed in experimental data is only an approximation to exact expression. Comparison to percolation and experimental data is presented.

Dynamical aspects of isoscaling

The origin and dynamical evolution of isoscaling was studied using classical molecular dynamics simulations of Ca + Ca, Ca + Ca, and Ca + Ca, at beam energies ranging from 20 MeV/A to 85 MeV/A. The analysis included a study of the time evolution of this effect. Isoscaling was observed to exist in these reactions from the very early primary isotope distributions (produced by highly non-equilibra...

Dynamical aspects of isotopic scaling

Investigation of the effect of dynamical stage established that the increasing width of initial Gaussian distributions is reflected by significant modification of the slope of final isoscaling plots after deexcitation. For narrow initial Gaussian distributions, the slope of isoscaling plots assumes the limiting value for two individual initial nuclei while for wide initial Gaussian distribution...

Conditions for Isoscaling in Nuclear Reactions

Isoscaling, where ratios of isotopes emitted from two reactions exhibit an exponential dependence on the neutron and proton number of the isotope, has been observed over a variety of reactions including evaporation, strongly damped binary collision, and multifragmentation. The conditions for isoscaling to occur as well as the conditions when isoscaling fails are investigated. Typeset using REVTEX

Systematic study of isoscaling behavior in projectile fragmentation by the statistical abrasion-ablation model

The isospin effect and isoscaling behavior in projectile fragmentation have been systematically investigated by a modified statistical abrasion-ablation (SAA) model. The normalized peak differences and reduced isoscaling parameters are found to decrease with (Zproj −Z)/Zproj or the excitation energy per nucleon and have no significant dependence on the size of reaction systems. Assuming a Fermi...

Dynamical and sequential decay effects on isoscaling and density dependence of the symmetry energy

The isoscaling properties of the primary and final products are studied via isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamics (IQMD) model and the followed sequential decay model GEMINI, respectively. It is found that the isoscaling parameters α of both primary and final products keep no significant change for light fragments, but increases with the mass for intermediate and heavy products. The dyna...
